He was an extraordinary character determained to live an ordinary life being born with the agonising genetic skin condition resessive dystropic epidermolysis bullosa (EB for short).this meant his skin could literally fall off at the slightest touch. It was a daily struggle having courage, determination and wit, offering insperation to millions around the world. Tragically Jonny was just 36 when he lost his final battle to skin cancer. About the author
Roger Stutter was one of Jonny Kennedy's closest friends, and spent many months recording Jonny's innermost thoughts and recollections for this extraordinary memoire. Additional topics are provided by Edna Kennedy, Jonny's mum and Nell McAndrew, who befriended Jonny in his final months. It is hoped the book will raise awareness of Jonny's condition for the charity that continues his work.
